Recruitment Process For Foreign Workers

Step 01.
Manpower Requisition & Requirement Review

We receive and review employer manpower requests, confirming job specifications and candidate requirements.

Step 02.
Candidate Pre-Screening & Eligibility Assessment

All candidates undergo initial assessment to evaluate suitability, qualifications, and compliance with employment terms. They are briefed on job scope, salary, and workplace conditions.

(For foreign workers: Pre-screening includes compliance with work pass eligibility and briefing on Singapore living and working conditions.)

Step 03.
Employer Interview Coordination

Interviews are arranged according to employer preferences: in-person, video, or phone.

(For foreign workers: Interviews can be conducted overseas in country of origin or via webcam or phone.)

Step 04.
Work Pass Application (For foreign workers)

ATS manages submission and processing of Work Permits (WP), S Passes (SP), and Employment Passes (EP).

Step 05.
Worker Arrival & Mandatory Medical Examination

(For foreign workers: Airport pickup is arranged, followed by MOM-mandated medical examinations. Workers commence work upon clearance.)

Step 06.
Orientation Programme

All workers undergo a structured orientation covering:

  • Singapore employment laws and regulations
  • Workplace conduct and local culture
  • Transportation and accommodation guidelines
  • Healthcare awareness
  • Workplace safety and 5S practices (where applicable)
Step 07.
Work Pass Issuance & Administrative Setup (for foreign workers)

ATS coordinates biometric registration, work pass card collection, and bank account setup.

Step 08.
Training, Certification & Sectoral Compliance (for foreign workers)

ATS assists with mandatory training and certification relevant to the sector:

Low Levy Conversion Courses (CGM)
Metal Safety Orientation Certification (MSOC)
Service Sector Skills Training (SLT)
CSOC and BCA trade verification (Construction Sector)
Advanced Work Safety Health in Process Plant (AWSHPP)

Step 09.
Post-Placement Compliance & Accommodation Verification

ATS ensures compliance with residential and accommodation requirements.

Step 10.
Worker Relations & Issue Management

ATS provides structured support for workplace concerns and worker counselling. Services are available on-call and on-site to resolve issues professionally.

Step 11.
Worker Care & Engagement Programme

ATS conducts follow-ups during the initial employment period to monitor well-being, adaptation, and workplace integration.

Step 12.
Work Pass Renewal Management

ATS supports employers in renewing Work Permits, S Passes, and Employment Passes in a timely and compliant manner.

Step 13.
Repatriation & Work Pass Cancellation

(For foreign workers: ATS manages end-of-employment arrangements, including repatriation, work pass cancellation, and return of work pass cards to MOM.)

Step 14.
Translation & MOM Administrative Support

ATS provides employment contract translation (including Mandarin) and assists with MOM-related documentation for both local and foreign hires.
